Hello, I am Jazmin.
A photographer, videographer and editor.

Photo / Yas Salamanca

My camera keeps returning to breaking news scenes, concert halls, esports arenas, culture, gender narratives, and the climate beat.

Grounded in the craft and traditions of photojournalism, my work has turned to videography and documentary imagery, especially to capture the grit, scale, and pulse of unfamiliar places, and the human stories rooted there.

My projects have ranged from Riot Games’ Valorant Championship Tour Pacific to Canva, Pulsar, Paper Rex, Tier One, Philstar.com, InterAksyon, Bandwagon PH, Xzar Lim, Taiwan Tourism, and GRID Magazine.

I broke ground as the first woman to lead the photography team at the University of Santo Tomas’ publication, The Varsitarian, and in 2022, I documented the Manila Symphony Orchestra’s performance at Tokyo Opera City.

I became part of the Getty × Girl Gaze × Dove #ShowUs archive, which earned the Cannes 2019 Silver Glass.

I participated in the Emerging Islands’ Plastic Passages workshop led by Mandy Barker and Hannah Reyes Morales and produced “Scarlet Sea”, a photo essay on period waste.

Today, I sit on the board of the Filipino Freelance Journalists’ Guild (est. 2023) and cover the Valorant Championship Tour Pacific 2025 in Seoul as a photo-videographer for Riot Games.

When I am not at work, I’m either hugging trees on a mountain, cycling in a remote area, hunting for the best ramen, or discovering different seas—living.
